Rodney Alexander Robinson is an American educator and policy advisor. He currently serves as Senior Policy Advisor at Richmond Public Schools, a role he has held since 2020. Robinson gained national recognition when he was named the 2019 National Teacher of the Year, following his tenure as a social studies and history teacher for grades 6 through 12 at the Virgie Binford Education Center, located inside the Richmond Juvenile Detention Center.
