Robert Katzschmann is an Assistant Professor of Robotics at ETH Zurich and a Core Faculty member of the ETH AI Center. As a scientist and educator, his research focuses on creating robots that safely interact with nature. He draws inspiration from living organisms' flexible, versatile, and adaptive characteristics, applying these features to develop robotic fish, walkers, hands, and flying machines.
