Robert Lightfoot is the President of Lockheed Martin Space, a role he assumed after joining the company in April 2019 as Executive Vice President of its Space division. In this capacity, he leads more than 23,000 team members, focusing on transforming the space industry to meet customer needs for protection, connection, and exploration.
Prior to his tenure at Lockheed Martin, Lightfoot had a distinguished nearly 30-year career at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
