Robert Jackson Marks II, born August 25, 1950, is an American electrical engineer, computer scientist, and distinguished professor at Baylor University. He currently serves as the director of the Walter Bradley Center for Natural and Artificial Intelligence. Marks earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Rose–Hulman Institute of Technology in 1972 and 1973, respectively, and a Ph.
D. in 1977 from Texas Tech University, where his dissertation focused on optical signal processing.
