Robert Habeck is a German writer and former politician. He served as Vice Chancellor of Germany and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection in the cabinet of Chancellor Olaf Scholz from 2021 to 2025. During this period, he was also a Member of the German Bundestag for Flensburg – Schleswig. Habeck is currently a Senior Analyst at DIIS - Dansk Institut for Internationale Studier, a position he has held since 2025.
