Biography

Richard Teng is the Chief Executive Officer of Binance, a global cryptocurrency exchange. He assumed the CEO role in November 2023, succeeding founder Changpeng Zhao. Teng joined Binance in August 2021 as CEO of its Singapore business, later becoming regional head for Asia, Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa in April 2023, and then global head of regional markets. He actively supports blockchain and crypto adoption by engaging mainstream and Web3 stakeholders.
