Richard Murphy is a British former chartered accountant and a prominent campaigner on issues of tax avoidance and tax evasion. He currently serves as Director at Tax Research LLP and is a Professor Emeritus of Accounting Practice at University of Sheffield Management School. Murphy advises the Trades Union Congress on taxation and is a co-founder of the Tax Justice Network.
