Richard Brookhiser is an American journalist, biographer, and historian. He currently serves as a senior editor at National Review, a position he has held since becoming the youngest senior editor in the magazine's history at age 23. Brookhiser began writing for National Review in 1970, with his first article, a cover story on antiwar protests, published when he was 15 years old.
After earning an A.B. degree from Yale in 1977, he joined National Review full-time.
