Sir Richard Blundell is a distinguished British economist and econometrician, currently serving as the David Ricardo Professor of Political Economy at University College London since 1984. Knighted in 2014 for his contributions to economics and social science, his work primarily focuses on microeconometrics and the microeconomic analysis of public policy.
Blundell began his academic career as a lecturer in econometrics at the University of Manchester from 1975 to 1984.
