Richard James Aldrich is a British political scientist and historian of espionage. He currently serves as a Professor of International Security at the Department of Politics and International Studies, University of Warwick, a position he has held since September 2007. Prior to this, he was a professor at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham. He completed his PhD from Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge in 1990.
