Ted Win-Ping Lieu is an American lawyer and politician who represents California's 36th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. A member of the Democratic Party, he has served in Congress since 2015, initially representing the 33rd district before the 36th. Since 2023, he has been Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus, a position that makes him the highest-ranking Asian American to have served in House Leadership.
