Biography

Gregory John Stanton is an American lawyer and politician who has served as the U.S. Representative for Arizona's 4th congressional district since 2019.

A Democrat, he was re-elected in 2020, 2022, and 2024. Prior to his time in Congress, Stanton served as the Mayor of Phoenix from 2012 to 2018, having been reelected in 2015. He resigned from his mayoral position in May 2018 to run for Congress.
