Biography

Renée J. James is an American technology executive, best known as the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Ampere Computing. She established Ampere Computing in October 2017, a company that in June 2020 announced its Ampere Altra and Ampere Altra Max Cloud-native processors, followed by Ampere One CPUs in May 2022.

Prior to founding Ampere, James had a distinguished career at Intel, which she joined in 1988.
