Rémi Quirion serves as the inaugural Chief Scientist of Quebec, a role he has held since July 1st, 2011. He is also a McGill Full Professor of Psychiatry and previously served as the outgoing Scientific Director at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. His academic career includes roles as Vice-Dean, Faculty of Medicine at McGill University, and Senior University Advisor (Health Sciences Research). From 2009 to 2011, he was the CIHR Executive Director for Alzheimer's Diseases.
