Biography

Refik Anadol, born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1985, is a Turkish American media artist, director, and a pioneer in the aesthetics of machine intelligence. He is the co-founder of Refik Anadol Studio, where he serves as Director, and also co-founded Dataland. Anadol is recognized for coining the terms "AI Data Painting and Sculpture" in 2016 during his residency at Google AMI.
