Rechie Valdez is a Canadian politician currently serving as the Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), appointed in May 2025. She was elected to the House of Commons in 2021, making history as the first Filipino Canadian woman to achieve this. Prior to her current appointments, she served as Minister of Small Business and as Chief Government Whip.
