Rawiri Wright is the Tumuaki of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Hoani Waititi Marae. In this role, he is deeply passionate about te reo Maori, education for Maori, and indigenous models of education, particularly Kura Kaupapa Maori - Aho Matua. He is also a strong advocate for indigenous rights, including tino rangatiratanga, and has a history as a protestor for Māori to assume their rightful place in Aotearoa.
