Biography

Ramon Laguarta is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, a global food and beverage leader. He assumed the CEO role on October 3, 2018, succeeding Indra Nooyi, and became Chairman of the Board of Directors on February 1, 2019. Laguarta is the sixth CEO in PepsiCo's history and the first Spanish CEO of a large American multinational company. Born in Barcelona, he joined PepsiCo in 1996.
