Raina MacIntyre is a Professor of Global Biosecurity and Head of the Biosecurity Program at The Kirby Institute, UNSW. In this role, she leads a strategic research program focused on emerging infections, pandemics, vaccinology, and health security. With over 30 years of experience in epidemic respiratory infections and vaccinology, she brings a unique perspective to epidemic control, combining field outbreak investigation with specialist medical knowledge.
