Biography

Rahm Emanuel is an American politician, diplomat, and former investment banker. He most recently served as the United States Ambassador to Japan from 2022 to 2025, departing upon the conclusion of the Biden administration in January 2025. Prior to his diplomatic post, Emanuel was the 55th Mayor of Chicago, serving from 2011 to 2019.
