Rachel Proffitt is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors at Cooley LLP. In her role as CEO, she is responsible for shaping and executing the firm's strategic priorities and strengthening its culture. She leads a group of attorneys and partners with innovative public and private companies and founding teams as they build businesses.

Prior to becoming CEO, Proffitt led Cooley's San Francisco corporate practice and founded the firm's legal education committee.
