Quincy Delight Jones Jr. (1933–2024) was an American record producer and composer whose career spanned seven decades. He received numerous accolades throughout his life, including 28 Grammy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Tony Award, alongside nominations for seven Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards.
Jones rose to prominence in the 1950s as a jazz arranger and conductor.
