Biography

Richard Eccleston is a Professor of Political Science and the founding Director of the Tasmanian Policy Exchange (TPE) at the University of Tasmania. He leads a team of policy scholars focused on issues shaping Tasmania's future. He is an experienced academic and research leader, having also been the founding Director of the Institute for the Study of Social Change (2014-19) and Head of the Politics and Policy discipline at the University of Tasmania.
