Pranjal Drall is currently a JD-PhD Candidate at Yale, where Drall is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Economics. Drall's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College, where Drall was part of the Varsity Tennis Team (NCAA DIII), the Data Analysis and Social Inquiry Lab, and served as Editor for the Grinnell Undergraduate Research Journal.

Prior to Yale, Drall was a Research Fellow at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (Epic).
