Porter Collins is an American investor and a Portfolio Manager at Seawolf Capital, a hedge fund he co-founded with Vincent Daniel. He gained prominence for his work as an analyst at FrontPoint Partners during the United States housing bubble in the 2000s. FrontPoint, including Collins and his colleagues, correctly predicted the market crash in 2008, a narrative central to Michael Lewis's book "The Big Short." Collins was portrayed by Hamish Linklater in the film adaptation of the book.
