Philippe Metzger is the Secretary-General & CEO at the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). In this role, he leads the global organization responsible for publishing international standards for electrical, electronic, and related technologies.

Prior to his current position, Metzger served as Director General at the Federal Office Of Communications Ofcom.
