Phil Ehr is a retired Commander of the U.S. Navy, concluding a 26-year active duty career where he advanced from Seaman to Commander. As a Naval Aviator, he flew classified electronic reconnaissance missions during the Cold War and provided combat support in Desert Storm. His military service also included providing space technology support to federal agencies.

Following his naval career, Ehr offered strategic advice to senior leaders in Washington, London, and NATO.
