Petr Popelka, born in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1986, is a distinguished Czech conductor and composer. His musical journey began with studies in music and double bass at the Prague Conservatory, followed by further education at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. At the age of 19, he became a member of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, and in 2009, he joined the academy of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
