Biography

Dr. Peter Phung serves as the Section Head of Palliative Medicine and Director of Palliative Care at Keck Medicine of USC. He is a board-certified hospice and palliative care physician. Dr. Phung completed his internal medicine residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, followed by a Palliative Medicine fellowship and a Master of Business Administration at UC San Diego. Prior to his medical career, he earned a computer science degree from UC Irvine.
