Peter Baines OAM is the founder of Hands Across the Water, a charity he established following the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. His early career involved working as a forensic investigator with the NSW Police, where he led teams in response to major international disasters. These high-pressure environments provided him with insights into leadership and the importance of showing up when it counts.
