Biography

Peter Schwartzstein is an environmental researcher and independent climate security consultant based in Athens, Greece. For over a decade, he has focused on water, food security, and the intricate conflict-climate nexus across approximately 30 countries, primarily in the Middle East and Africa.

Schwartzstein is a non-resident fellow with the Stimson Center's Environmental Security Program and a fellow with the Center for Climate and Security.
