Peter George Morici Jr. is an American economist and Professor Emeritus of International Business at the R.H.

Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. He earned his Ph.D.

in economics from SUNY Albany in 1974. From 1995 to 2017, he was a professor of international business at the University of Maryland, and since 2017, he has held the title of emeritus professor.
