Biography

Peter J. Hotez is an American scientist, pediatrician, and advocate recognized for his work in global health, vaccinology, and neglected tropical disease control. He currently serves as the founding dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine and holds the Texas Children’s Hospital Endowed Chair in Tropical Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine.
