Debbie Ngarewa-Packer is a prominent New Zealand politician, iwi leader, and activist. She currently serves as a Member of Parliament for Te Tai Hauāuru and is the co-leader of Te Pāti Māori alongside Rawiri Waititi. Additionally, she is the chief executive of the Ngāti Ruanui iwi.
Her political career includes being elected to the South Taranaki District Council in 2007, where she served as deputy mayor until 2010.
