Paul Akers is an American entrepreneur, business owner, author, and speaker. He is the founder and president of FastCap, a product development company based in Ferndale, Washington, with distribution in over 40 countries. FastCap is recognized for launching over 30 new innovative products annually and is regarded as a model Lean manufacturer.

Akers discovered Lean manufacturing, also known as the Toyota Production System (TPS), in 2000.
