Paul Sereno is a professor of paleontology at the University of Chicago and an Explorer at the National Geographic Society. He leads expeditions to locations such as the Sahara Desert and Tibet in search of fossils to chart the evolution of dinosaurs. His discoveries span five continents and include several new dinosaur species, notably a nearly complete specimen of Sarcosuchus imperator, often referred to as SuperCroc, found in Gadoufaoua, Niger.
