Paul McEuen is an American physicist and the John A. Newman Professor of Physical Science at Cornell University, a position he has held since 2001. He earned his B.
S. in engineering physics from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 and his Ph.D.
in applied physics from Yale University in 1991. Following postdoctoral work at MIT, he began his academic career as an assistant professor at the University of California, Berkeley, before moving to Cornell.
