Sir Paul Roderick Clucas Marshall is a British hedge fund manager, philanthropist, and media baron. He is the co-founder and chairman of Marshall Wace LLP, established in 1997 with Ian Wace. The company started with $50 million, half of which came from George Soros, and has grown to manage over $50 billion, making it one of Europe's largest hedge fund groups. Marshall Wace is known for its equity long/short strategies and has offices globally.
