Paul Ashworth is the Chief Data & Modelling Economist at Capital Economics. He joined CE in 2001 from the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR), where he worked on developing their macroeconometric model of the world economy (NiGEM), after taking degrees in Economics and Mathematics at Strathclyde University (BSc) and Warwick University (MSc) and completing a PhD on asymmetric adjustment in macroeconomic models.
