Patty McCord is a human resources (HR) consultant and executive. She served as the Chief Talent Officer at Netflix, joining the company in 1998. Her professional relationship with Reed Hastings began at Pure Software, and he later invited her to join Netflix as a startup.

McCord departed from Netflix in 2012 during the company's transition from a mail-order DVD service to a streaming service.
