Pattie Maes is the Germeshausen Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab. She leads the Fluid Interfaces research group, which conducts research at the intersection of Human Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. Her group focuses on applications in health, wellbeing, and learning, and she is also a faculty member in MIT's Center for Neuro-Biological Engineering.
