Biography

Patrick Michel is a French astrophysicist and planetary scientist. He holds the position of Director of Research Exceptional Class at CNRS and is a Project Scientist for the European Space Agency (ESA). He is also a Prof. Global Fellow of The University of Tokyo.

Michel's research focuses on understanding collisional processes between small bodies in the Solar System and their surface processes, utilizing numerical simulations validated by laboratory experiments.
