Patrick Wendell is the co-founder and VP of Engineering at Databricks. In his current role, he leads product development teams across several key areas, including exploratory data analysis, machine learning, and data ingestion. Databricks partners with thousands of organizations to leverage large-scale data processing and machine learning.

Wendell co-founded Databricks in 2013, after dropping out of a PhD program.
