Patrick Honohan is an Irish economist and public servant. He currently holds the position of Honorary Professor of Economics at Trinity College Dublin. From 2009, he served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland.
His career also includes roles as a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute For International Economics, Senior Adviser at the World Bank Group, and Economic Adviser to the Taoiseach at the Department Of The Taoiseach.
