Pamela Slaughter is the Founder and Executive Director of People of Color Outdoors, an organization established to advocate for and promote equitable access to natural spaces for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. The organization was created following her and her children's experiences with racism in outdoor settings.
