Biography

J.M. Schultz is the Chairman and Founder of Open Prairie. Born and raised in Effingham County, he is a fifth-generation Illinoisan with a family history of farming and business building since 1840. Schultz is an accomplished agribusiness professional and serial entrepreneur.

He brings extensive business experience, from his early childhood in family global agribusinesses to the early-stage capital expansion of Open Prairie over the past two decades.
