Biography

Oana Popescu-Zamfir is a political analyst, international affairs and security expert, and consultant. She currently serves as a Europe's Futures Fellow at IWM in Vienna and is a Director at GlobalFocus Center in Bucharest. Her career includes significant roles in government, such as a former EU Affairs State Secretary for the Ministry of Labour & Social Affairs in Romania's 2016 technocratic government, and a former Foreign Affairs Adviser to the President of the Romanian Senate.
