Biography

Norman Loayza serves as the Director of the Global Indicators Group at the World Bank. His career at the World Bank includes a previous role as a Lead Economist in the Development Research Group, where he also managed the Asia hub of the Research Group based in Malaysia. A significant contribution was his directorship of the World Development Report 2014, titled 'Risk and Opportunity: Managing Risk for Development'.
