Niels Warburton is an Assistant Professor at University College Dublin, where his research is centered on modeling sources of gravitational radiation, with a particular focus on extreme and intermediate mass-ratio inspirals.

He is the founder and lead-developer of the Black Hole Perturbation Toolkit (bhptoolkit.org) and also co-founded the Multiscale Self-Force (MSF) Collaboration, in which he remains active.
