Nicole Hegarty is a journalist with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), where she currently works on the flagship current affairs program 7.30. She is on secondment from her permanent position as a Federal Political Reporter for ABC News, based at Parliament House in Canberra.

Her career at the national broadcaster has included roles as a political reporter/producer for RN Drive and a political producer for Q+A.
